GUESS? started out as a small jeans company in California in 1981. The brand has developed into a household name with a global lifestyle. Jeans still remain the foundation of the company's history and success, and
they have expanded the brand to encompass many different lines including kids & baby apparel, watches, footwear, belts,
fragrances, jewelry, swimwear, handbags, small leather goods, eyewear, and leather apparel.
The GUESS? founders Maurice and Paul Marciano, were raised in the south of France. This region is known for cultivating the rich and passionate understanding of French design as well as the essence of style. The brothers, who by combining their love of the American West with a European sensibility, have taken GUESS? to a place dreamed of by most companies.
When the company was first launching in the 80's, fashion denim had little direction due to people thinking that denim was dated,
so jeans were not considered a fashion statement. The Marciano brothers went on to change what people knew as denim forever. Their designs were timeless, strong and chic. They
single handedly changed the world of denim as we know it today. Who would of thought they would keep us guessing what's next all these years later.
